Menggabungkan kedua tense saat menceritakan pengalaman kamu. HRD akan langsung notice kalau kamu salah bilang "I work in marketing for 3 years" yang seharusnya "I have worked in marketing for 3 years."
Present perfect: Pengalaman yang relevan sampai dengan saat ini, tanpa waktu spesifik. Gunakan ini untuk peningkatan skill, pencapaian karier.
Contoh: "I have managed sales teams across Asia for five years."
Simple past: Kejadian yang terjadi di masa lalu, menggunakan waktu jelas (yesterday, in 2023).
Contoh: "I worked on a project that generated $500K revenue in 2023."
Pertanyaan HRD: "Tell me about your professional background."
Jawaban pro: "I have worked (present perfect) in digital marketing for seven years, where I have led (present perfect) campaigns that have increased (present perfect) conversions by 40%. Last year, I launched (simple past) a project that doubled (simple past) our leads in Q4 (specific time)."
Cara bicara HRD yang tepat: Selalu tambahkan angka/hasil: "I have handled 50+ clients" lebih baik dibandingkan hanya menggunakan kalimat "I have experience." Latihlah terus sampai kamu terbiasa!

Dialog bersama teman: "What if?", jawablah spontan menggunakan rumus.
Rumus Passive Voice: Subject + be (am/is/are/was/were) + past participle (V3)
Contoh: The project was completed / Targets are exceeded
Active ke Passive: "I completed it" → "It was completed by me"
Fakta: 70% kandidat gagal karena terlalu "I"-centric. Passive bikin bahasa Inggris profesional terlihat lebih meyakinkan.
Pertanyaan: "Describe a challenge."
