We firmly believe on offering all of our program participants the summer of their lives - their first real taste of adult independence - but in a secure and structured environment, one based on mutual caring and respect. EF staff are trained to provide your child with individualized support and advice from the first handshake hello to the last heartfelt hug goodbye.
Meet the EF team!
Throughout your childs course, you can count on a team of trained support stauiff to ensure things run smoothly, whether that's on the journey abroad of throughout their course abroad. Together, we are committed to maintaining EF's high standards of quality, comfort and safety.
EF Action Leader
This is the [Country] adult responsible for the welfare of an EF group throughout their stay abroad. Each of our leaders are carefully screened for their experience and maturity in looking after teens. The EF Action Leader first meets a group of students in their home country to travel abroad with them. On arrival at the EF Global Village, the EF Leader remains on-hand to offer guidance and support in [Native Language]. The EF Leader chaperones EF excursions and helps to organise outings of particular interest to the group.
EF Global Village Manager
This is the manager responsible for daily operations at an EF Global VIllage. This person oversees all aspects of your childs experience: academic, leisure, accommodation and conduct. They work hand-in-hand with the EF Action Leader to ensure the needs of each group are being met. Many of our directors have worked for us for a decade or more.
EF Activity Leader
This is the person specifically in charge of leisure-time activities. Brimming with enthusiasm and energy, they are chosen for their ability to relate to today's youth and respond to their tastes. Activities officers keep the weekly EF Activities Board full of organised sports, outings, excursions and evening events. They're also walking guidebooks for the best places to shop, play sports and hang out.
EF Accommodation Officer
This is the staff member who organises the housing at each destinations. They carefully screen and interview every EF Host Family and visit them regularly to make sure our standards of quality and comfort are being met. In the case where the destination offers a student residence, college campus or resort complex, the accommodation officer lives and works on-site to provide support and monitor student conduct.
