Sebelum menjawab Latihan soal di bawah ini, pastikan kamu sudah mengetahui formula simple past, past progressive, dan present perfect.
Hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam menjawab latihan soal Bahasa Inggris
Simple past menerangkan aktivitas atau situasi yang terjadi pada waktu tertentu di masa lalu. Contoh simple past yaitu sebagai berikut:
She walked to school yesterday
He lived in Canada for ten years.
The tea spilled on my lap. I accidentally dropped my cup.
Sedangkan past progressive menerangkan aktivitas yang terjadi dalam waktu yang sama. Tetapi slah satu aktivitas tersebut telah dimulai sebelumnya dan masih berlangsung saat aktivitas lain terjadi. Contoh past progressive yaitu sebagai berikut:
I was walking down the street when it began to rain
While I studied, my roommate was having a party in the other room
